Mr. Ahlfeldt has over 15 years of in-depth work experience in the energy industry working primarily in the North American and African energy sectors. Since founding Blue Horizon ECS he has independently and collaboratively sold, managed and implemented various energy consulting projects ranging from national renewable energy policy development to climate finance fund strategy. He’s also been involved in a number of electricity sector studies across Sub- Saharan Africa such as tariff studies, renewable energy policy, investor market entry strategy, climate finance strategy, economic development impact, and legislative/regulatory reforms in various countries (e.g. Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Eswatini, Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Liberia, and South Africa). He obtained an Energy Systems Engineering B.S. degree at Stanford University.
