Jack-Vincent Radmore

Jack Radmore is a Capetonian, born and raised in Gauteng. He has worked in South Africa, Kenya, Ghana and the United States. Having an academic background in Business Sciences and Finance and a Master’s degree in Economics and Sustainable Development, Jack leads the Energy Programme and Climate Finance Programmes at the green economy development agency, GreenCape.

GreenCape is a registered non-profit organisation in South Africa. GreenCape drives the widespread adoption of economically viable green economy solutions. GreenCape works with businesses, investors, academia and government to unlock the investment and employment potential of green technologies and services and to support the transition to a resilient green economy.

Jack specialises in renewable energy, innovation management and innovative finance. However, his passion is for economic empowerment, and designing and providing alternative service delivery in under-serviced areas.

Jack was awarded the South African National Energy Association (SANEA) Youth Energy Leader of the Year in 2018/19. In 2019, he was selected as a Mandela Washington Leadership Fellowship at Rutgers University where he specialised in greening supply chains and innovation in business.

In 2020, Jack was selected as one of the 12 African Power and Energy Elites of the Year and he was also a finalist for Leader of the Year in the African Power, Energy and Water Industry Awards. Jack has recently been selected as one of the Mail and Guardian Top 200 Inspirational Young South Africans as well as one of the News24 100 Young Mandela’s of the Future.
