General Manager, Knowledge Pele
Jolene Shaw is the General Manager of the Knowledge Pele business within Pele Energy Group.
She has a wealth of experience in both private and public sectors. As head of Knowledge Pele, Jolene focuses on driving Development Advisory through economic development management and skills development programmes, emphasising IPPs, Trust and Foundations. She also leads a team that implements social infrastructure projects that act as anchor assets within communities. These projects include installing solar and water purification systems in schools in rural and peri-urban communities.
Jolene's current focus is on expanding Knowledge Pele's pipeline of projects while prioritising community self-sufficiency. With her expertise and leadership, she is committed to ensuring that Knowledge Pele continues to make a positive impact in building sustainable communities across the country.
She holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Stellenbosch and is completing a Master of Management in Innovation Studies from Wits Business School.
