Norman is a Group CEO , DPA Africa, a renewable technology company, rolling out solutions into the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector including mini grids in Africa . Norman has extensive experience in the African continent having started his career in 1997 with Standard Chartered Bank, then moved to join GSM industry in 1999 working for Econet. He served as Commercial director for Celtel Zambia , CMO for Celtel Nigeria and Group Marketing Director for Celtel Bahrain before moving to Tanzania as CEO for Etisalat and Helios Towers Tanzania. He has been recognized as GTB top 40 under 40 years global GSM leaders , Titans of industry (South Africa) in 2017, and author of a Leadership book , “Rumble in the Jungle”. He seats on a number of boards and is a part time lecturer at Stellenbosch Business school. He is married with children and holds an MBA.
