Valeska Gottke is Head of Communications and Markets at the German Energy Storage Systems Association (BVES). She manages the association’s communication and work on international market development as well as its international partnerships in her role as chair of the organization's „Export Platform Energy Storage”. Valeska Gottke holds a master’s degree in East European Studies, specializing in International Relations and Energy & Climate Policy. Before joining the BVES, Valeska supported international market entry of German energy companies as part of the "German Energy Solutions" initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and subsequently covered energy and climate policy issues at Der Tagesspiegel.
