Mr Vusi Mweli has Honours degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Has over 20 years of experience in the areas of economic research, investment promotion, export development and promotion. Held various senior positions that which includes being a Senior Manager for Investment Promotion at TEDA; various senior managerial roles at the Department of Trade and Industry that included acting as Chief Operating Officer for Trade and Investment South Africa and senior management in the areas of investment promotion, export development and promotion; Foreign Economic Representative in Moscow, Russia as well as Munich, Germany.
He has undergone training in a range of fields that include project management and due diligence, investment and portfolio management, financial management, investment promotion and export promotion.
