Acting: General Counsel and Ethics Officer, ENGIE Southern Africa
Legal director with over 10 years’ in house and private practice experience, mainly in the energy, infrastructure and project finance sectors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
After gaining his first professional experience in private practice, Benjamin joined ENGIE in 2010. Within ENGIE, he has worked across various business units in Brussels, Dubai, Casablanca and Johannesburg.
Between 2016 and 2021, Benjamin was ENGIE’s head of legal and ethics for Northern Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria).
Since January 2021, Benjamin has been acting as general counsel and ethics officer of ENGIE Southern Africa, advising on the Group’s development and operational activities in South Africa.
