Head of Solar Engineering, Sun Exchange
Dermott Murphy is Head of Solar Engineering at Sun Exchange. He has more than a decade of experience in the design, implementation and operations & maintenance of solar systems. Dermott holds a bachelor of engineering degree, with honours, in Electro-mechanical engineering from University of Cape Town (2010), is a member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers, and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (2016). Dermott has been involved in the development and implementation of over 1.5GW of solar systems across Central and Southern Africa and the USA.
