Head of Business Development, JUWI Renewables Africa
Gilles Dumont is an engineer and business development specialist focusing on sustainability and decarbonisation in the mining sector.
He is currently head of business development for on-grid and off-grid projects at JUWI Renewables, Africa. Gilles has worked in the renewable energy sector for twelve years, and has deep experience in the design, financing, construction and O&M of large-scale and utility-scale solar and wind projects in Africa.
Prior to joining JUWI, Gilles was a technical manager and project developer at BioTherm Energy and before that operations manager at Emergent Energy. He has a master’s degree in Engineering from the Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers in France.
