Jonathan Skeen has a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and Masters in Technology Policy and Management from Edinburgh University.
He has over a decade of experience in solar construction, project development, policy and engineering design. His experience spans the full spectrum of renewables in South Africa, from the implementation of commercial and industrial rooftop solar plants, to development work on several utility scale solar plants including a 100MW CSP plant in the Northern Cape as well as the 200MW Tronox solar project.
Jonathan is also a longstanding contributor and section author for the REN21 Renewables Global Status Report, the world’s foremost publication on global renewable energy markets, trends and policies
