Mutenda Tshipala graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Witwatersrand university. Mutenda is a Senior Manager in charge of Electricity Pricing and Sales Forecasting, as well as the development of pricing policies such as wheeling and the net-billing framework to support the uptake of rooftop PV. Mutenda's work over the past years includes: transmission and distribution tariff design, cost to serve studies, pricing policy development, developing wheeling tariffs for Southern African Power Pool, grid planning and project engineering studies. |
