Green Finance Programme Manager, GreenCape
Lisa Johansson serves as the Green Finance Programme Manager at GreenCape, leveraging her background in investment banking to drive strategic support in the green finance ecosystem. Her role is pivotal in scaling capital flows, investment, and job creation within the green economy, encompassing sectors like energy, water, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture. Lisa is actively involved in the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA), a global technical assistance programme funded by the UK government, that supports low-carbon and climate-related projects in accessing finance. She also contributes to mapping the South African climate finance landscape with the Presidential Climate Commission and works on aligning South Africa’s Green Finance Taxonomy with international standards. Her multifaceted role includes engaging with various stakeholders and emphasises the importance she places on building and managing relationships. Lisa holds a BCom in Business Finance and Marketing with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand and has passed Level I of the CFA accreditation.
