With professional qualifications in engineering and finance, James has over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors across Africa. He has a broad knowledge of the energy sector and was the PwC Strategy & lead on energy transition and Net Zero before taking up the challenge of establishing the Energy Council of South Africa.
He is the chair of the World Energy Council South Africa committee and leads organised business in energy under the Business for South Africa partnership with Government and is passionate about shaping the vision of a sustainable energy transition and inclusive economic growth for South Africa.
