Driven by his passion for understanding future trends in Energy and Mobility, Winstone, along with BMW, Nissan and SANEDI, was a founding member of EVIA (Electric Vehicle Industry Association). Winstone has been involved in various commercial projects including developing business cases for renewable energy, R&D of a commercial commuter EV, and promoting smart grid-connected systems such as EV Charging infrastructure and back-office systems. Winstone has established SA’s most extensive EV charging network and works with OEMs and other parties to improve SA’s EV charging network.
